This problem is very relevant in our time, because being in the modern world we are constantly confronted with the media. TVs, smartphones, laptops are so firmly established in our everyday life that we cannot even imagine our existence without them. It has become normal for us to watch the latest news on our favorite TV channel, find out about a football match on a sports website via the Internet and listen to the weather forecast for the day on the waves of a favorite FM radio station. How much the world has changed! And these changes are directly related to the work of the media. Over the years, the pressure in the “pipes of the media” has increased, because there are more and more of it. Thus, naturally, the information influence increases. I believe that it is young people who are the most active part of society, which sets the general tone for social development.

Young people are a social group that is very much influenced by the mass media. If we talk about the nature of media influence on young people, we can distinguish two types of influence. The fact is that the media can produce both positive and negative effects on young people. Thus, the media has two sides of influence, like two sides of the coin. Positive moments: the media keeps young people informed of all the events taking place, thus satisfying the “information hunger”. Furthermore, mass media serves to inform the authorities and the public, remove social tensions. However, there are mostly negative aspects that media have, so more and more people are now talking about the negative impact of the media, which is expressed in their inappropriate behavior in society. This problem must be solved, despite the fact that it will not be profitable for someone. A healthy lifestyle, a high realized intellectual potential, a depth of good morality should, first of all, characterize the youth. The most powerful mean of information on the impact on people's minds is television, which provides the possibility of visual-figurative perception, and hence a stronger emotional impact on a person. Mass media have a great influence on shaping the lifestyle of young people. This influence extends directly through the media to the personality of the young man, and indirectly through parents, teachers, and peers, on whom the media, in turn, also have a significant impact. Even the social norms prevailing in society are largely shaped by the media. Mass media create a dual, mutually exclusive influence on the lifestyle of a young person: on the one hand, they act as a factor stimulating the formation of a healthy lifestyle among young people, on the other - they provoke the development of bad habits, chemical addictions contribute to the development of psychological discomfort.

Television has a strong influence on the life-oriented young students, TV also sets and promotes the standards of a beautiful life, influences the behavior of young people, makes a significant contribution to the nature of their communication with the world, turns out to be an incentive for actions that do not need to be invented by themselves as they are given in finished form. By promoting certain values, media are capable of shaping appropriate attitudes among people. Young people are a social group that is very much influenced by the mass media. In the twentieth century, new media sources emerged that took a special position among the long-established media. These abundant sources are television and the Internet. Media sources are also actively involved in the lives of people. Television also promotes certain values that are capable of shaping appropriate attitudes among people. This problem must be solved, despite the fact that it will not be profitable for someone!
